Infant and Toddler Early Education (0–5 years old)

Early Learning Services at Clover provides the foundation for learning for children as early as 6 weeks old.

Young children thrive and learn through a variety of year-round, full-day academic and social enrichment activities. Essential health screenings, nutrition and behavioral health services are provided for hundreds of infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their families.

For over 100 years, we have been a leader in early education and quality child care in Louisiana. We believe high-quality early childhood education is critical in preparing children to succeed in life.

Studies show that children who enroll in a formal education program before entering kindergarten are less likely to repeat a grade, and more likely to graduate from high school, pursue a higher education, and become higher wage earners in the workforce.

In support of our Whole Family approach, Family Advocates are available to all families throughout their child’s enrollment in any of our Early Learning Services program. Advocates are trained to provide support so that parents can be involved in the foundational education of their children as well as assist parents and caregivers with setting goals for their own educational or employment futures.

Meet the 2024 Parent Council

The Parent Policy Council’s objective is to elevate program participants and community members as leading voices and advocates for policy change, co-creators of organizational programs and services, and organizational ambassadors sharing their stories and experiences.

The Policy Council serves as part of Clover’s Governing Body for the Head Start programs. Together with Administration and Clover’s Board of Directors, they are the liaisons between the Parent Committee and Governance.
